Lowes Foods – Brown Bear Campaign
Client: Lowes Foods
Category: Commercials | Broadcast / Non-Broadcast / Web Commercials | 1209. Food & Beverage
About Project
The Brown Bear campaign for Lowe’s Foods brought a refreshing twist to grocery storytelling introducing a realistic, comedic bear as the unlikely spokesperson for the brand’s all-natural Brown Bag product line. Partnering closely with the agency’s creative direction, we produced a fully live-action world that blended humor, warmth, and handcrafted detail without relying on CGI.
From sourcing the perfect bear costume to designing a log-cabin-inspired set that felt both whimsical and authentic, the production leaned into a “human world taken over by animals” concept. Every creative choice from the stilted puppet movement of a squirrel to the tactile cabin textures was designed to immerse viewers in a believable, comedic environment while reinforcing the natural and approachable qualities of the brand.
The campaign’s core goal was to elevate Lowe’s Foods’ Brown Bag line by driving awareness and emotional connection through storytelling that felt organic, funny, and visually distinct.
Collaboration was key; the team’s collective creativity and practical craftsmanship turned a simple grocery spot into a memorable brand experience.
