About Project

An award-winning, full-service public relations agency focused on high tech and all the verticals it touches, Global Results Communications (GRC) introduced new an initiative designed to educate, inform and inspire future and current communications professionals through its weekly PR 360 podcast. Featuring the best public relations talent in the tech industry, PR 360’s goal is twofold: to help professionals successfully create campaigns, deal with crises and navigate a career in tech PR; and grow a community where communications enthusiasts can share stories, experiences, insights and have thoughtful conversations.

For example, Digitalundivided’s Christina Brown in an episode highlighted one of her company’s most successful campaigns called Founders Out Front, which included sending a questionnaire asking women of color in the community how they've been impacted by the pandemic. With the data, the company produced a report about it and commissioned a photoshoot, which took place outside of the homes of the women. The results included an exclusive feature in Forbes, among many other outlets.

In another episode, Andy Gilman from CommCore discussed the importance of transparency, using Johnson and Johnson’s Tylenol crisis as an example from the past of how a company must show genuine compassion when its products result in unintentional deaths. In the present, he talked about company hacks, which have been rampant during the pandemic. These types of events require different responses, and everyone from the C-suite to the junior staff of a company should be well-informed and well-prepared. This is where PR professionals add the most value—with a solid plan in place.

The culmination of PR 360 podcasts is intended to help professionals as well as PR students navigate a career in tech PR, pulling together all the elements involved—creating great content, brand journalism, finding unique angles and building campaigns.
