The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Resolution Management, Diversity & Inclusion (ORMDI) advances an inclusive environment that values and supports the diverse communities VA serves—employees, Veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors—and cultivates equitable access to care, benefits, and services for all. As part of its I*DEA initiative, ORMDI develops campaigns to recognize, celebrate, and advance inclusion, diversity, equity, and access at VA. I*DEA’s BeYourSelf campaign is an internal effort focused on raising awareness about the initiative while demonstrating support for individual expression and emphasizing the ultimate impact of happy, authentic employees: Better service to Veterans.
The BeYourSelf poster series showcases real VA employees—presenting photos and quotes from 12 employees at all levels and across administrations. By putting authentic voices front and center, VA is sending an important message to its employees: We invite you to BeYourSelf.
These posters are on display at VA facilities across the country. Interactive, 508-compliant digital versions are also available to all VA employees on the I*DEA intranet and are shared via newsletters and other communications.
