About Project

While 40% of groceries are thrown out in American households, 1 in 5 families faces food insecurity in NYC. City Harvest wants to help find a new food donation revenue and simultaneously stop food waste.
This packaging redesign will be placed in major grocery stores to educate and encourage shoppers to donate on the spot, while the product is still fresh.
