About Project

The Alexis Joy Foundation is here to help woman and families who are suffering from and affected by perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. It was started when Steven's wife, Alexis, lost her battle with postpartum depression. Today, the foundation raises hundreds of thousands of dollars to build the very first center dedicated to woman's mental health during this crucial time. The invitation is for the annual gala which is the main fundraiser for the foundation. We chose a high end paper for the high end clientele. The invitation design ties into the website which was meant to inspire hope rather than focus on the loss. We mailed to a targeted area in the Pittsburgh area as well as previous attendees. The invitation did bring new donors to the event and the foundation was able to raise more than the previous year.
