About Project
After a century of market leadership, business-to-business (B2B) flavor company Virginia Dare—a company known for its thoughtfully sourced, high-quality flavors and extracts—turned to MarketPlace Branding to renovate its online presence.
Our long-standing knowledge of both Virginia Dare and its audiences provided a solid foundation for a complete website redesign. Within the website, our task would be twofold: to reflect Virginia Dare’s present-day capabilities and enliven the brand.
A cohort of inventive taste-makers with extensive market expertise, Virginia Dare informs and inspires with intriguing flavor ideas for foods, beverages, and supplements. With 100 years in business, the company uniquely embodies wisdom and credibility, inventiveness and agility.
And now, its website reflects the same.
The mobile-first website design is clean, minimal, and sophisticated. Beautiful food and beverage photography promotes the wide range of applications Virginia Dare ingredients support. Subtle animations throughout sections, images, navigation, and hover states echo the energy of a Virginia Dare partnership. Multi-layered text and image treatments, auto-play background video, and interactive galleries keep the user informed and engaged. A bold and confident tone creates excitement and trust, while callouts and calls-to-action champion a story of capability and creativity.
In less than a year since its launch, site users and sessions have already doubled. With a century of success and a brand for the ages, the Virginia Dare of today is set to ideate, create, and innovate for many years to come.
