About Project

HIFI Labs is a creative incubator and artist mentorship collective building an artist-owned, community-powered future for musicians. The company uses web3 technology to create custom digital platforms, projects, and activations for artists and brands. When redesigning their website, HIFI Labs wanted to cite fun, retro visuals akin to the early days of Apple’s macOS software. The site is meant to be an extension of HIFI Labs’ musicOS, their proprietary platform that allows fans to stream music and interact with artists via customized OS ecosystems. Spearheaded by Pierre Reimertz, Rou Hun Fan and Ariel Klevecz on the company’s dev team alongside Aaraon Akbari-Mort for design, the new layout gives visitors a nostalgic experience while still featuring modern tech capabilities. Surprise “pop-up” windows are uncovered as users explore the different icons on the site. The team built the new website with HIFI Labs’ company development in mind – creating a visually interesting layout that will easily allow them to introduce new features and modules as they continue to evolve.
