About Project

The New Jersey Lawyers Assistance Program has been providing a monthly newsletter supporting lawyer well-being for 10 years. During the pandemic, Balance was published weekly at the height of uncertainty, and eventually went to twice a month, and finally returned to monthly. What has started out as a one-theme issue, was expanded on October 2023 to cover many aspects of our helping work, including well-being support for New Jersey Lawyers, Judges and Law Students. In the past year, we have seen a significant rise in opens - usually within hours of the mailing. Other agencies, such as the New Jersey State Bar Association, have highlighted our newsletter to their members, further spreading our confidential and free services. Because the newsletter is digital, and we want to share more than one issue (but especially our July 2024 issue) we have provided the link above to our newsletter archive.
