About Project

MissionMSA.org, a website dedicated to supporting the Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) community, faced significant challenges with its previous design. The site was outdated, visually unappealing, and difficult to navigate, which hindered user engagement and accessibility. Our mission was to completely rebrand the website, transforming it into a modern, user-friendly platform that not only looks better but also provides an enhanced user experience.

Our design approach was heavily guided by UX principles to ensure an intuitive and seamless user journey. Key UX enhancements included implementing a color-coded navigation system called 'Discover with Purpose,' which uses the new brand colors to categorize content, making it easy for users to find relevant information quickly. We also ensured the site was fully responsive, providing optimal performance and appearance on all devices. Adhering to WCAG guidelines, we made the site accessible to all users, including those with disabilities, by using high-contrast text, alt text for images, and keyboard navigability.

We worked closely with Mission MSA to streamline and reorganize the content, implementing a clear hierarchy to make information easy to understand, and incorporating engaging multimedia elements like videos, infographics, and interactive features. Our redesign emphasized a clean, modern aesthetic that aligns with Mission MSA’s mission and values, ensuring consistency in visual elements across the site and using compelling visuals and stories to engage users emotionally.

The rebranding and redesign of MissionMSA.org resulted in significant improvements, including increased user engagement, improved accessibility, and overwhelmingly positive feedback from both the MSA community and new visitors. Our commitment to combining strong UX principles with a modern, appealing design has not only improved the user experience but has also elevated Mission MSA’s online presence, making it a valuable resource for the MSA community.

The redesigned MissionMSA.org stands as a testament to the power of thoughtful design and user-centric principles, showcasing how comprehensive rebranding and a focus on UX can transform a website into an engaging, accessible, and visually compelling platform that truly serves its community.
