In today's digital landscape, a company's website serves as a pivotal touchpoint that can significantly impact customer and prospect engagement and business growth. With this understanding, Blue Yonder embarked on a mission to revamp its website to better serve its customers and prospects, with the goal of enhancing their journey in expanding their supply chain solutions.
The company was using Sitecore XP, a legacy platform that presented numerous operational challenges for the Digital team — which manages the company’s website — including inefficient backend management and cumbersome content management.
To address these challenges, the Digital team decided to transition to Sitecore XM Cloud, enabling them to overcome previous limitations and elevate their digital strategy. By adopting a headless architecture, the team was able to decouple the frontend from Sitecore, thereby gaining greater flexibility and enabling seamless reuse of content across multiple platforms. This architectural shift not only optimized content management but also enhanced the scalability of digital assets. Additionally, the headless architecture significantly improved page load times by eliminating user-facing database calls, resulting in a more efficient and responsive user experience.
Simultaneously, while migrating to Sitecore XM Cloud, Blue Yonder seized the opportunity to comprehensively refresh its brand and messaging. The introduction of a revised color palette and font selection brought a new, revitalized aesthetic to the company website. Additionally, the brand voice was refined for greater consistency, and repeatable templates were implemented across various sections of the website, ensuring a uniform and cohesive experience for users exploring Blue Yonder’s extensive range of solutions.
