About Project

The Rosendin Foundation, established in 2020, has been actively involved in positively impacting communities, empowering individuals, and inspiring innovation across the country. Over the past three years, The Rosendin Foundation has undertaken various initiatives to fulfill its mission. One significant endeavor has been the implementation of The Rosendin Foundation (TRF) Camp Build, a transformative program aimed at igniting the joy of building in middle school students.
TRF Camp Build is a free co-ed day camp tailored for 6th-8th graders to spend a day or a week with skilled craft workers. The program provides an immersive, hands-on experience in construction, offering valuable skills and exposing students to a range of career opportunities in the industry. Under the expert guidance of professionals, students learn to use hand tools and power tools safely, then use them as they learn to pour concrete, woodworking and framing, soldering, pipe bending, electrical wiring, roofing, and painting. They also learn about using VR and Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies to virtually build and estimate as well as heavy equipment operations.
In 2023, TRF Camp Build was held in five cities: Austin, Phoenix, Anaheim, Gallatin, Tennessee, and Sherman, Texas. In 2024, the camp will be repeated in Austin, Phoenix, Anaheim, and Sherman and introduced to students in Charlotte. Austin and Phoenix will introduce a second-year curriculum for returning campers to advance to their next step in advanced construction learning. The Rosendin Foundation's commitment to education and training is evident in its dedication to inspiring and empowering each student on their journey of discovery and growth. TRF Camp Build also serves as a gateway for middle school students to explore diverse career opportunities aligned with their interests, encouraging a more inclusive and innovative future for the construction industry.
In addition to TRF Camp Build, The Rosendin Foundation has also been actively supporting community well-being through financial assistance to various non-profit organizations nationwide. To date, The Rosendin Foundation has donated $1,882,850 since inception. In 2023 alone, The Rosendin Foundation donated $620,000 to 73 nonprofits during their annual grant distributions, totaling $640,000 in grants last year. These grants support organizations focused on uplifting local communities beyond construction projects, promoting emotional, nutritional, and occupational health programs.
Notable recipients of these grants include Women Giving Back, Cornerstones, Inc., Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence, Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada, Aspiring Texas Latinos Achieving Success Together, Domestic Violence Action Center, Future for KIDS, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon, and more. The Rosendin Foundation's support goes beyond financial contributions, as evidenced by its dedication to building a community of compassion and empowerment.
Overall, The Rosendin Foundation has made significant strides in fulfilling its mission of positively impacting communities and empowering individuals through initiatives like TRF Camp Build and its generous support of non-profit organizations. Through these efforts, The Rosendin Foundation continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people across the nation.
