About Project

Our collaboration with Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo (FMWB) resulted in an immersive digital experience – a touchscreen app featured on an 86” display at their tourism center and accessible on smartphones for nationwide events. Emphasizing storytelling, we closely collaborated with FMWB to shape user flows, information hierarchy, and messaging design. Efficiency was boosted by leveraging FMWB's Storyblok CMS as a remote headless CMS, minimizing server overhead. The app, with 14 flexible components, emphasizes accessibility and usability, vividly showcasing the charm and authenticity of Alberta’s wild north and the Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo Region.
